The Beam Combiner is used to merge two or more Prizmatix LED outputs in a multi-wavelength LED Systems.

A built-in dichroic mirror at a specific cut-off wavelength reflects the shorter wavelength and transmits the longer wavelength combining the two into a single output. This output can be coupled to either a microscope, fiber coupler or other Prizmatix modules.

Optical filters can be installed at the inputs or the output ports of the Beam Combiner when needed.  The fourth port can be used to connect a Prizmatix photodiode module for use as reference signal or feedback loop.

Note: The standard Beam Combiner includes a permanently installed dichroic mirror. Choose the “Empty Dichroic Holder” option to be able to install your own dichroic mirror. Use any standard 26x38mm dichroic mirror at any time.
