The Silver-LED is a compact and self-contained fiber coupled LED light source, designed for use with multi-mode fibers.

It is an excellent replacement of lasers and lamps in many applications, such as spectroscopy, illumination, optogenetics, photoactivation and curing.

This light source is available in a wide range of wavelengths (280nm- 940nm). Its advanced low noise LED driver electronics support CW and fast TTL pulsing.  The analog input (0-5 Vdc) enables control of output power from a computer via a digital to analog (D/A) converter. There is an option for built-in USB interface for use with LabView, Matlab, and other software that can send HyperTerminal commands

Note: The power output of the Silver-LED varies with the fiber characteristics. Larger core diameter and higher NA will increase power output.

The Silver-LED is part of the FC series, which includes devices with 2,3,5 and more separate LEDs. When multiple wavelengths in a single fiber are needed, the Prizmatix Mic-LED with our Beam Combiner module and Fiber Coupler are recommended.

For higher power requirements Prizmatix Optogenetics LEDs are recommended.
