The Prizmatix High Power Microscope-LED (Mic-LED) is an affordable quality LED light source for fluorescence excitation in upright and inverted fluorescence microscopes.

The LED includes a built-in adjustable collimator with a 22mm beam and mounts directly to the epi-fluorescence microscope port. The XY adjust screws enable precise alignment of the LED to the microscope light path while the Z adjust ensures uniform coverage of the entire field of view.

The Mic-LED is compatible with the Prizmatix modular Optibock system and can be expanded into a Multi-LED system at any time. The multi wavelength system can mix any of Prizmatix’s collimated LEDs: Mic-LED, UHP-Mic-LED or UHP-T LEDs.

The BLCC-04 controller’s advanced electronics include a low noise (<0.03% RMS) LED driver, fast TTL (50kHz) switching, a precision ten turn dial and opto-isolated TTL and analog inputs. 

Each Mic-LED is shipped with a serial-number specific test report providing information on total beam power and emission spectrum.

For more demanding applications, check the Prizmatix Ultra High Power (UHP) LEDs or UHP-T LEDs for up to 20x more power.
