Designed for delivering light via fiberoptics  to a sample under an objective this package combines convenience and cost saving. With this new design, if the delicate fiber optic tip breaks, there is no need to replace the entire fiber. Just remove the broken tip and attach a replacement. Save time and reduce cost by not needing to order spare fibers.

The package includes:

  • Base Fiber -  500um core POF fiber with 1.25mm ferrule
  • Pack of 5 mating sleeves
  • 3 identical replaceable fiber optic tips (at the core diameter of your choice)

The mating sleeve can be secured to a micromanipulator for precise movement and spatial location control. The polished bare fiber protrudes from the tip so that the ferrule will not obscure the image under the microscope

Note: This product replaces the original Prizmatix In-Vitro Fiber.

Note: Prizmatix Optogenetics-LED and FC-LEDs have SMA connectors on front panel.
