The modular design of Prizmatix LEDs enables you to configure your system with the functionality you need now, while allowing future expandability.

This Dual Wavelength Microscope LED Light Source is comprised of two Ultra High Power or Ultra High Brightness LEDs combined with a Beam Combiner module into a single output.

The system is usuallly mounted on the epi-fluorescence port of a microscope but can also be coupled to a Liquid Light Guide or an Optical Fiber.

Available in standard and Ultra Low Noise configuration this popular configuration is used for:

  • Ratiometric Fluorescence Imaging
  • Voltage Sensitive Dyes (VSD) & Genetically Encoded Voltage Indicators (GEVI) - (Ultra Low Noise option advised ) 
  • Dual Opsin Activation (e.g. Crimson and Chronos)
  • Optical Imaging (Stabilized option advised)

The LEDs can be separated any time into two independent light sources, each capable of being used as a microscope or fiber-optic source. Additional adapters can be purchased separately.
