Optogenetics-LED Starter Kit


The Prizmatix Optogenetics-LED Starter Kit contains everything you need to deliver intense light into implanted fiberoptic cannula to activate or inhibit neurons in in-vivo optogenetics experiments with freely moving animals.

The kit includes a Prizmatix Optogenetics-LED light source (provides >440 mW/mm² light pulses, triggered by external TTL input), fiber optics and an extremely low friction Rotary Joint.

With a unique large LED bilateral experiments can be performed with a single light source. 

The Optogenetics-LED Starter Kit is available in:

  • Ultraviolet: (~385nm)
  • Violet: (~400nm) over 380mW/mm^2
  • Blue: (~455nm) over 440mW/mm^2
  • Green: (~520nm) over 120mW/mm^2
  • Lime-Green: (~545nm) over 440mW/mm^2
  • Yellow: (~595nm) over 80mW/mm^2
  • Orange-Red: (~625nm) over 250mW/mm^2
  • Deep Red: (~655nm) over 120mW/mm^2

*Other wavelengths from 365nm to Near Infrared, are available by request.
